Speed Tuning got it's start when FBI Dean The Dub built a Golf R32 and sent it to BravoXXX for review. The car went over well do FBI Dean The Dub sent it over to Darkpagey of SW2 Tuning to request paint. He agreed and about a week later, the Gulf Golf that was to be the birth of Speed Tuning was merrily idling in FBI Dean The Dub's garage. After bagging numerous online wins and hours of personal enjoyment (hey, who doesn't enjoy winning?)

SW2 (which stands for SwiftWolf 2, SwiftWolf R's original gamertag) was born on 7/18/2007 when SwiftWolf R posted his first tuned car for sale, the A class Nurburgring Proto Spirra. After seeing the success of other tuners such as Garage Setagaya and a few independent people, SwiftWolf R decided to see what the tuning area of the game was all about.
