Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ForzaTunes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ForzaTunes is a free, open-source, community-run site where users can share and discover tune share codes for the Forza series of video games. ForzaTunes is not affiliated with Microsoft, Xbox Game Studios, Turn 10 Studios, or Playground Games.

3. User Accounts

You sign in via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, post prohibited content, or harm the community.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (tune share codes, titles, descriptions, gamertags). By submitting content you grant ForzaTunes a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and redistribute it solely to operate the Service.

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, or defamatory.
  • Contains personal information about others without consent.
  • Advertises commercial products or services.
  • Abuses the submission system (duplicates, spam, farm accounts).
  • Violates Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules or any third-party rights.

We may remove any content for any reason at our sole discretion, including to comply with legal requests or to protect the community.

5. Reports and Moderation

You may report tunes that violate these terms. Reports are reviewed by site moderators. Abusive or bad-faith reporting may result in account restrictions. Moderation decisions are final.

6. Microsoft Game Content Usage Rules

ForzaTunes operates under Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules. "Forza Horizon," "Forza Motorsport," associated logos, vehicle names, track names, and game assets are trademarks or intellectual property of Microsoft Corporation and/or its licensors. ForzaTunes does not claim ownership of any such assets and does not represent itself as an official Microsoft, Turn 10, or Playground Games product.

7. Intellectual Property

The ForzaTunes source code is made available under its open-source license as stated in the project's GitHub repository. Third-party trademarks and assets remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest the Service in a way that disrupts operation.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or moderation controls.
  • Use the Service to deliver malware or malicious payloads.
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your affiliation.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any tune will work as described or will be free of errors. Use any submitted tune at your own risk — ForzaTunes is not responsible for in-game results, losses, or damage.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForzaTunes and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the project evolves. Material changes will be communicated on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
